“A Free Book for Every Child” Campaigns

SKIPS develops social value campaigns for many organisations across the UK with a view to provide A Free Book For Every Child in state-funded primary schools. These initiatives are the beginning of a comprehensive, ambitious and challenging behaviour change project to make a positive difference to the lives of children in communities.

Charter for Social Responsibility

SKIPS is one of the very first organisations to be an accredited Charter signatory of The Birmingham Business Charter for Social Responsibility. The award reflects our forward thinking and ethos, and is a prerequisite when bidding for new work and providing new services to local authorities and government.

Cllr Stewart Stacey, Cabinet Member for Commissioning, Contracting and Improvement at Birmingham City Council, said:

“The Birmingham Business Charter for Social Responsibility is one way of ensuring that as much of the council’s £1billion spent on contracts as possible is used to get extra value for Brummies but it is also about setting out a new ‘way of doing business’ in our city as a whole.”

“So, I am delighted that we are now at the stage where we can recognise the organisations that are setting a standard for ethical business practices for all other companies to aspire to, whether contractors or not.”

SKIPS Social Impact Reporting

As a part of our commitment to our stakeholders, communities and sponsors, SKIPS is dedicated to measure and report the social impact of its operations and campaigns.
